This Soviet 1 Ruble Coin was produced in Russia in 1967 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the October revolution. The obverse features the coat of arms of the Soviet Union which includes the infamous hammer and sickle. The lettering on the obverse can be translated to, “Fifty years of the Soviet Power, One, Ruble.” The reverse features Lenin with his right arm raised facing left to the right of a five-pointed star above the country name, "CCCP," which translates to, "USSR." The edge of the coin has the dates, "1917-1967," and the lettering can be translated to, "Glory to Great October."
