The reverse of this 1 Pound bimetallic Egyptian coin features the iconic funeral mask of King Tutankhamun in the brass plated steel center. The nickel plated steel outer ring of the reverse is filled with ornamental designs. The obverse of this coin features the country name in Arabic, denomination in Arabic and English, and year of issue in Gregorian and Hijri calendar years (both in Arabic). The diameter of this coin is 25mm which makes it about the same size as a US Quarter.
