Soviet Union USSR 10 Kopek Coin
This Soviet 10 Kopeck coin was produced in Soviet Russia from 1961-1991. The obverse features the infamous hammer and sickle overlain on a globe. This sits above a rising sun emitting rays upward. All of this sits within a wreath of wheat stalks with a star centered at the top. There are 15 orbits of ribbon wrapped around the wheat stalks. At the bottom of the obverse the letters, "CCCP," can be seen which translates to, "USSR." The reverse of this coin features the denomination at the top and the date at the bottom. In between the two there is some lettering that translates to, "Kopecks." These coins are made of a nickel brass composition. They weigh 1.6 grams and are 17.27mm in diameter, about the same size as a US dime.
