This 2 Reichsmark coin was struck in .625 fine silver with an actual silver weight of 0.1608 troy ounces. Originally intended to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Potsdam Garrison Church, the 1934 German 2 Reichsmark coin was turned into a piece of political propaganda when Hitler modified it to celebrate the first anniversary of Nazi rule. The obverse features the Potsdam Church with the date March 21, 1933, the date the Nazis came to power in Germany. The reverse features a German Eagle.
